About Jerry
Meet Jerry, a vibrant and confident male Kelpie with a zest for life that's truly infectious. Jerry is a wonderful dog who loves being around people, as well as getting along famously with dogs, cattle and cats. He looks for a new family who shares his appreciation for the joys of the outdoors.
Jerry is happiest when he's on the move, and he needs plenty of exercise to keep both his body and mind active. He would be an excellent companion for someone who enjoys hiking or running, as he's eager to join in on any adventure you plan. Whether you're exploring forest trails or taking a leisurely jog around the neighborhood, Jerry will be right by your side.
Even with his playful and energetic nature, Jerry has a calm side that shines through when he's around his human companions and fellow animals. His happy demeanour makes him perfect for homes where he can enjoy social interactions and stimulation. He thrives in environments where he can both burn off energy and relax, and he would be perfectly at ease in a home with a backyard that allows him to stretch his legs and play.
If you're looking for a loyal, active, and friendly companion, Jerry is eager to meet you. He offers the promise of companionship with boundless love and joy, ready to take on new adventures together. He's ready to bring an abundance of happiness into the lives of those lucky enough to call him a family member.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
