Hello there! I’m Bubbles, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.

Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Bubbles if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
My Ideal Home:
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• A home without small dogs would be best for me.
• A submissive female canine companion would suit me well — although I adore people and would also be perfectly happy as your one and only.
• I have a high prey drive, so I’m not suited to homes with cats or small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, or ducks.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• Socialisation is just as important as training. Taking me to new places, introducing me to all sorts of people, dogs, and other animals will help me grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
• Training, training, training — it’s essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I’m excited.
• I’m highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I’m gentle and placid in nature, and I’ve had some basic obedience training — I’m generally a well-mannered dog. I know my basic commands like sit, shake and stay, and I’m always eager to learn more.
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.

Medical notes
Mild to moderate hip dysplasia in left hip and mild hip dysplasia in right hip. May require pain management in the future.
Adoption details
All adoptions are through an application process.
You will find the link to the online application form in each animal’s profile.
Preferred applicants will be phoned to book an appointment to meet the dog or cat.
Once the adoption has been finalised, unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
