About Shiro
Meet Shiro! Shiro is a shy but gentle cat who's looking for a calm, patient home where he can truly feel safe. He would do best with an experienced cat owner who understands that trust takes time - and is willing to go slow, and let Shiro set the pace as he settles in to his new space.
Shiro is hoping for a quiet indoor household with adults (or cat-savvy teens), and he'd like to be the only pet in the home. He's not one for sharing - he wants all of your love and attention for himself. Once he bonds with his person, he shows just how sweet he really is, forming a deep and special connection. He loves to be near you, sharing your warmth and getting all your attention.
If you're someone who values a meaningful bond and has the patience to help a shy cat come out of his shell, Shiro could be a wonderfully loving companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
