About Cheddar
Meet Cheddar, the chatty feline with a personality as vibrant as his name suggests. With a coat that echoes the color of delicious cheese, Cheddar is an engaging companion who loves to converse with his human friends. He can be heard chiming in during dinnertime or offering his own observations throughout the day. His lively presence is sure to bring joy and laughter into your home.
Cheddar thrives in company, whether it's with a human or another cat. He’s wonderfully adaptable, invigorating playtime indoors but perfectly content to relax independently, taking naps wherever he pleases. His sleeping spots range from your bed to the nearest cat tree, and he occasionally enjoys snoozing directly on his favourite humans. Although he loves interaction, he sometimes gets a bit overzealous during play with other feline friends—another cat just might need a high perch to escape his enthusiastic antics. Nevertheless, he’s a gentle spirit who’s never shown any indication of biting, making him a great match for families with kids, as long as they are gentle due to his occasional leg wobble.
While primarily accustomed to an indoor lifestyle, Cheddar exhibits no shortage of curiosity and open-heartedness. His love for wet food makes mealtime a delight, and he diligently uses his litter tray, with your choice of either clay or sand. Despite his aversion to loud barks, Cheddar has met dogs through doors without fussing, showcasing his adaptable and easy-going nature.
Cheddar may require a little extra attention after his visits to the litter box, given his occasional bathroom mishaps, but this small need for care is easily outweighed by his affection and charm. Open-hearted and perpetually happy, Cheddar is ready to join a home that appreciates his vocal, playful, and friendly nature. Whether it's a lively family or a quieter abode, Cheddar’s vibrant spirit is the purr-fect addition to any loving household.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
