About Persephone
This amazing little mama who is only but a baby herself at 8 months old, is seeking someone who believes in the power of second chances. Poor little Persephone found herself alone and pregnant in a remote country town. She was taken in by a kind soul who cared for her and her litter of kittens until she was transferred into our care.
This gorgeous little girl has been let down time and time again by people and is therefore a bit suspicious of new people and quite protective of her kittens. She is a little inclined to hiss at you if she doesn't know you, but soon comes around with treats and patience.
Persephone is looking for a indoor home where she will be safe from the hazards of living outdoors. She is presently living with her kittens, and should enjoy a feline friend (biological or other) for company in her forever home folllowing a gradual introduction.
We recommend having two cats or kittens as it provides a built in friend, snuggle buddy, security, playmate and a good way to prevent your new cat from getting into mischief. If you are interested in taking a second cat or kitten let us know as we will consider negotiating a reduced adoption fee to ensure a nice easy transition into their forever home.

The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
