This handsome boy loves nothing more than a good cuddle session followed by a lazy sunbake in the yard. Bowie is the perfect mix of loyal best friend and independent soul - just as happy snoozing beside you on the couch as he is relaxing on his own bed.

Bowie has had quite a journey. Earlier in life, he lived with anxiety that went untreated for some time. Since coming into our care, he has worked closely with our Behaviour Department, and the change in him has been remarkable. With the right behaviour support and training, Bowie has grown into a confident, settled, and relaxed dog. He's still a sensitive boy at heart, but now has the tools to cope with the world and truly enjoy life.

He's playful and curious, loving squeaky and crinkly toys, tug-of-war, leisurely strolls, and car rides to anywhere! He's a true foodie and never says no to cheese or meat, though veggies aren't really his thing. When it's time to unwind, Bowie is all about butt scratches and falling asleep right next to his people. He enjoys exploring new streets and sniffing out new scents on his walks, taking life at a pace that suits him.

Bowie does have some white areas of fur and spent most of his life outdoors, which means he may be more prone to sun-related skin issues, including lumps or cancers. He's already had one removed and will need a home that is mindful of sun safety and regular check-ups, but this doesn't stop him from living a happy, full life.

Bowie is looking for a home that can offer him love, stability, and companionship, where he can continue to enjoy cuddles, sunshine, and gentle adventures. He's the kind of dog who will give you his heart completely, and in return, asks only for patience, understanding, and plenty of love.
