Tessa is a sweet gentle girl who had a scary start to life. She had a litter of adorable babies who she ADORED and since farewelling them to their new homes, has been on a journey to become the sweet lovable girlie she is today. Tessa is easily spooked so she tends to zoom under furniture if she feels unsafe, but don't let that deter you! She has shown tremendous progress with overcoming her fears (her and the robot vacuum are best mates now) and will in time become more comfortable with the things that trigger her. When she first arrived at Animal Aid, she initially didn't love humans but has since come to appreciate being in their orbit.

Her foster carers work from home and have found her to be a great office companion, checking in on her humans every now and again, and accepting pats and delivering them head boops. Tessa is easy going when it comes to food. She's a grazer with little motivation to seek out food that doesn't belong to her. She LOVES other cats. She is obsessed with her foster homes' two resident cats (a boy & girl) and bonds quickly to other cats. She'd do great in a home as an only cat OR with other cats to keep her company and play with. Tessa may be okay in a house with other pets or older children but it's important that her boundaries are respected when she needs alone time. If you're keen to have your hand smooched by a soft little cutie-pie with the coat of a caramel swirl, Tessa is your girl!
