About Teddy
š§ø Teddy š§ø
𩵠Meet Teddy, a stunning lynx seal point Ragdoll with the softest fur and an even softer heart. This gorgeous boy is pure love wrapped in fluff.
š Teddy is a world-class cuddler who truly believes humans exist for snuggling. He adores being picked up and carried around, and his absolute happy place is tucked under the doona, snoozing contentedly beside (or on!) his people, like a real, live teddy bear. If youāre looking for a cat who wants to be part of your everyday life, Teddy is your guy.
š§» When heās not busy perfecting the art of sleeping, Teddy plays with real enthusiasm. Toys, toilet paper, mystery objects, nothing is safe from his playful pounces! He sometimes gets a little too excited and may use his mouth on hands or feet during play. Thereās no aggression behind it at all, just kitten energy and enthusiasm, which is why heād be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over.
š š¶ Teddy has previously lived with an elderly cat, but his playful nature was a bit much for a senior companion. He would absolutely thrive with another energetic kitten or young cat who can keep up with his zest for life. Heād likely do well with a friendly dog too.
š If youāre dreaming of a loving, affectionate companion who wants to cuddle you under the covers, follow you around, and fill your home with warmth (and fur), Teddy is ready to steal your heart.
š Teddy isnāt just a cat, heās a cuddle buddy for life.
His first birthday is on the 8th of February and weād love to give him a forever home as his birthday gift!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
