About Candy
Meet Candy, the stunning and lovable American Bulldog with a heart of gold. At just two years old and weighing in at a solid 30kg, Candy has captured the hearts of everyone who meets her. With her soulful eyes and gentle demeanor, she's a magnificent and gentle giant ready to find her new family. Her journey has been one of courage and transformation, and now she's eagerly awaiting her next chapter.
Candy's journey of growth is truly inspiring. While she may have been a bit apprehensive in her early days, her resilient spirit has shone through. Once cautious, she now shows her playful side with her new canine friend, Rollie, illustrating her potential to blossom with the right companionship. Candy's loyalty to her foster carers is heartwarming, and she shares an incredibly close bond with them, always seeking their presence for comfort.
Candy is house-trained and shares her affectionate nature willingly, adoring snuggle time with her foster family. In fact, if you're someone who doesn't mind a furry friend on the bed, Candy would be thrilled to sleep there with you. While she may still experience moments of nervousness, her loving personality is her most prominent trait.
Candy is best suited to a home where she can be the center of attention and receive the affection she deserves. Her trusting heart is waiting for a family that will understand and appreciate the tender soul beneath her stoic exterior.
If you have space in your home and heart, consider welcoming this gentle girl into your life—you won't regret the companionship and loyalty that Candy has to offer.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
