About Licorice
Introducing Licorice, a delightful Border Collie with a heart full of love! Licorice weighs 20 kg. While we aren't entirely sure about the mix of this charming pup, we can tell you Licorice walks well on a lead, making every stroll an enjoyable outing for both owner and dog. This friendly canine knows how to come when called most of the time, a testament to their intelligent and eager-to-please nature.
At the shelter, Licorice has been nothing short of fantastic with everyone, winning over hearts with boundless affection and genuine sociability. Licorice is known for being a social butterfly, melting any heart with cuddles and wags. This endearing pup thrives on human interaction and would be overjoyed in an environment that offers both ample space and mental stimulation.
While Licorice has shown interest in cats, we are unsure if this may mean chasing them. The shelter's cat doesn't run, so there's not been much testing. When it comes to toilet training, we're a bit uncertain, as Licorice is still learning the ropes, but with patience and guidance, there's no doubt that Licorice will excel.
Licorice's perfect home would involve a secure yard and stimulating activities to keep that active mind engaged. This playful pup is looking to shower your home with love and joyful energy. In return, you can expect unwavering loyalty and the companionship of a dog with a big heart and a zest for life. Engage Licorice’s friendly demeanor, and you will find a loving companion eager to be part of your life's adventures.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
