Te Whetu (Tare-Fair-To) (Hd060)

Te whetu (pronounced tare-fair-to), meaning star, is a calm, loyal chap looking for a good home. In addition to loving pats, tummy rubs and walks, tewhetu enjoys going to the beach for swims. He is excellent on and off the lead, walking by your side. Affectionate and loyal, tewhetu is also a good little guard dog. He gets on well with other dogs, and would be a great addition to any family. *update* - 22/11

tewhetu is currently being cared for by a foster carer who has a dog of their own. Their front gate was accidentally left open today for several hours, and when they had come home their dog had disappeared (he has since been found). Tewhetu however was calmly sitting on the boundary line, just inside the open gate, waiting for his foster carers to come home - he did not go for a walk around. What a good dog!
