About King Bun
Meet King Bun - named after King Kong, but don't worry, this bunny isn't climbing skyscrapers or swatting planes. He's a gentle, nervous soul who prefers a quiet kingdom and a peaceful reign. Sudden noises and fast movements can be a bit overwhelming, so a calm, respectful home is key.
Once he feels safe, King Bun shows a steady, comforting presence - the kind of king who rules through kindness, not chaos. He may be shy, but his loyalty runs deep.
King Bun is deeply bonded with Bunzilla, and the two are inseparable - a true monster-movie duo with hearts of gold. For their wellbeing, he must be adopted together with Bunzilla.
King Bun would thrive in a home with adults or rabbit-savvy teens who understand nervous rabbits and are ready to welcome some very gentle legends into their lives.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
