Meet Malcolm ❤️
Malcolm is the ultimate Velcro dog, just looking for a spare spot in your home and in your heart. If you'll let him, he'd also love to claim a little corner of your couch.
He's happiest simply being with his people. Whether you're working from home, pottering around the house, or relaxing in the evening, Malcolm is content just hanging out by your side. He's a genuinely low-maintenance boy who's simply searching for someone to love.
Malcolm has been waiting far too long, and honestly, we can't understand why. This beautiful boy is everything you could ask for.
He's been working hard on building his confidence, enjoying trips to the shops and spending time in the office at the training facility where he's currently waiting for his special someone to find him.
Malcolm doesn't ask for much, just unconditional love, a full food bowl, a comfy place to snooze, and a 10-minute stroll once or twice a day. In return, he'll give you unwavering loyalty and companionship.
He doesn't need perfection.
He just needs someone willing to give him time, love, and a chance.

At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
