Malcolm is searching for a foster-to-adopt home, a calm, loving space filled with patience, kindness, and gentle reassurance while he learns that the world isn’t so scary after all.
He’s a true Velcro dog, happiest right by your side, quietly soaking up the love he’s missed out on. Malcolm has previously lived happily with children and forms deep, loyal bonds with his people.
Out on walks, he can feel overwhelmed and may pull towards other dogs, but this comes from uncertainty, not malice. With guidance and time, he is learning how to navigate these moments with more confidence. He is dog friendly with correct introductions.
Malcolm has already spent time working with a trainer and is currently continuing his progress in a stay and train program to build his confidence but he’s ready to be in a home, sharing in everyday moments, and yes… most likely claiming a spot on the couch if given the chance.
He doesn’t need perfection.
He just needs someone willing to give him time, love, and a chance.

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
