Baguette

Hello, I'm Baguette. Yes, like the bread. Long, golden, and best enjoyed warm and loved. I am a 12-week-old ginger gentleman, freshly baked and ready to rise into my forever home.

I came into care with my siblings, like a little basket of assorted rolls, and I've been proofing beautifully in foster care ever since. I'm very used to the hum and bustle of a household - the clatter of dishes, the sound of humans moving about, the general hustle and bustle of life. Nothing fazes me. I've learned that loud noises don't mean the oven is exploding and that feet walking past are not, in fact, out to knead me (though I wouldn't mind).

As a kitten, I contain all the classic ingredients: playful zoomies that hit like a sudden yeast reaction, an obsession with toys that crinkle or skitter, and a deep commitment to naps in warm, sunny spots. I can go from full baguette chaos to perfectly still loaf in seconds. One moment I'm tearing around like I've had too much sourdough starter, the next I'm curled up, dreaming of snacks and affection.

I am friendly, curious, and very much a people kitten. I enjoy being part of the action, supervising from nearby, and popping up to see what you're doing because it might involve treats or attention, both of which I consider essential food groups. I purr easily, settle in nicely, and am always happy to be told I'm handsome, because frankly, I am.
