Dakota needs a home! She would love a quiet, loving and patient family who can give her the time she needs to learn to trust humans again. Sadly, we feel they were not always kind to her.

Dakota would love a home as the only cat getting all the love and attention! We feel she would also be okay in a home with another cat - as long as she is given a slow and proper introduction. She is not suited to a home with dogs or children under 10 - they are a little too overwhelming for her, as she thrives in a peaceful, calm and predictable home.

This little cutie has really come out of her shell and is playful, petite, very friendly, affectionate, adorable and really sweet. Dakota just needs someone who understand that she has gone through a tough time and just needs to heal her heart in a safe environment with someone patient.

Dakota loved bed snuggles, lots of chin scratches and pats. She will bond closely with you in time and just needs someone who understands that sometimes the best of bonds take time.
