About Koko
Meet Koko, a sweet and gentle soul looking for a patient, understanding home. While she may seem a bit reserved and shy at first, her warm, friendly nature quickly surfaces once she feels safe and comfortable. After a few interactions, Koko blossoms into an engaging companion who loves nothing more than spending quality time with her people, often expressing her fondness by jumping right onto your lap for some one-on-one affection.
Koko is house-trained and enjoys the company of humans more than other dogs, but with regular socialization, she can get along well with her canine counterparts. However, she seems to thrive as the only dog in the household, where she can be the exclusive recipient of your love and attention. For homes that already have a dog, she would do best with an older, easy-going companion who respects her space and doesn't overwhelm her with too much energy.
This gentle girl can be a little anxious and lacks confidence in new environments, so she needs some extra patience and assurance to adjust. When it comes to walks, she may occasionally freeze or become flighty, so a slow, gentle approach is essential. With steady practice, Koko's leash walking improves significantly. An experienced home with previous knowledge of working with nervous or scared dogs would be ideal for Koko, as she could use some guidance in building her confidence and continuing her socialization.
Koko's perfect family comprises individuals who understand her needs, possibly with children over the age of ten who can appreciate her gentle disposition. A quieter home will help her feel secure and boost her confidence as she navigates her new world. If you’re ready to welcome a loving and loyal companion to your life and provide the nurturing environment she needs to thrive, Koko might just be the perfect match for you.
