Adoption information
About Iggy
Meet Iggy, a remarkable dog with a heart as beautiful as her sweet nature. Despite having only three legs, she's full of life and is warmly affectionate to all who meet her. Adopting Iggy means gaining a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy.
Iggy loves going for walks and gets around on a lead with ease. She enjoys exploring the world at her own pace, and her love for the outdoors is infectious. Though she prefers the company of humans over other animals, her calm and gentle demeanor makes her an ideal companion for an individual or family seeking a pet who will thrive as the center of attention.
Iggy's environment should be cozy and undisturbed by other animals, allowing her to fully settle in and enjoy the love and care of her adopters. Her sweet temperament and courageous spirit are truly inspiring. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will share life’s adventures with grace and resilience, Iggy is the perfect match.
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Upper Lachlan Shire is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue, staff will then review applications and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Council Office at 44 Spring Street, Crookwell (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic)
