About Peter
Peter is a soft, gentle and young border collie pup. He is white and black, with a black patch on one eye and long white socks.
He is a delightful pup who enjoys playing with other dogs, people and children. He enjoys keeping his mind stimulated and food puzzles are his favourite with the determination needed to work for finding his food.
He enjoys exploring outside and doesn’t wander far away from his foster family who he prefers to be with. He is affectionate, loves pats and will lean against your leg for a snuggle if he has the opportunity.
Peter likes to know where his people are and enjoys being able to join in on the family routine and being able to see what is going on.
Peter is comfortable with water and will happily use it to help him to keep cool. He enjoys entertaining himself with toys with room to run and play.
Peter has been an outside dog with invitations to come inside where he will exercise being calm in his crate, and will alert you if he needs to go potty. He is eager to learn and at the moment is embracing learning manners which he is picking up both from his foster family and kelpie who he loves to play with.
Peter will suit a family who are looking for an active and clever pup and will love being involved in their everyday routine, and to spend time with after a busy day together for a bit of a snuggle.
If Peter sounds like the boy for you, please send in an application today!
Peter is located in NSW.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
