About Stardust
Stardust is a female Domestic Short Hair cat available for adoption in Auburn (Sydney, NSW).
Active, curious and full of personality, Stardust is the kind of cat who brings a lively rhythm to everyday life. She’s wonderfully expressive and loves being part of whatever’s happening around her — especially if food might be involved.
From the moment the day begins, Stardust is tuned in to the household soundtrack, offering soft little meows as she checks in and keeps a close eye on meal preparations like it’s her chosen profession.
A little about Stardust:
🐾 Social, interactive and chatty
🐾 Thrives in active households
🐾 Enjoys the company of other cats
🐾 Well suited to indoor and apartment living
🐾 Food-motivated and always curious
🐾 Best suited to a dog-free home
With the people she knows, Stardust is affectionate and delightfully conversational. She greets familiar faces with gentle vocal hellos and happily chats back when spoken to, creating moments that feel surprisingly like real conversations.
She’s social without being demanding and affectionate without being clingy, always seeming to know when to lean into a moment of connection.
Around new visitors she prefers to observe at first, quietly watching the room before warming up quickly once voices are calm and movements feel gentle.
Stardust enjoys the company of other cats and would love a home with feline friends to play, groom and nap alongside. She would likely be happiest in a dog-free environment where she can feel confident and settled.
Her days have a joyful rhythm. She’s most animated around meal times and will absolutely seek you out if she suspects lunch is happening without her. Afternoons often include playful bursts with her siblings followed by a sneaky nap in an unexpected spot — sometimes discovered later in a delightfully silly pose.
As evening arrives, Stardust’s playful side truly comes to life with energetic zoomies, fly-hunting adventures and affectionate grooming sessions with her feline companions.
Life with Stardust tends to feel lively, affectionate and full of small sparkling moments.
Mornings might begin with a cheerful little greeting as she checks in to see what the household is up to. During the day she’ll weave in and out of the action, occasionally offering commentary or settling nearby to watch the world unfold.
Evenings often end with playful bursts of zoomies before Stardust curls up nearby, content to rest after a day of exploring, chatting and sharing the rhythm of home life.
For the right guardian, Stardust brings laughter, companionship and the kind of bright, curious energy that makes a house feel wonderfully alive.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
