Arie is a timid, gentle boy who is looking for a calm and patient home where he can feel safe and take his time to settle in. He will need to start out in a small, quiet room and be given plenty of time before being allowed to explore the rest of the house, as large open spaces can easily feel overwhelming for him.
A patient and understanding adopter is essential, as Arie may be shy in a new environment and will need time to relax before his true personality shines through. While he prefers quiet spaces, he does enjoy a gentle pat every now and again once he feels comfortable.
Arie would suit a peaceful household, ideally with teens who understand basic cat body language and know when to give him space. As a long-coated kitty, he will need regular, calm grooming sessions to keep his coat healthy and tangle-free.
He loves snoozing on plush beds and curling up in small hidey holes, where he can feel cosy and secure.
