About Jay
Meet Jay, a playful and cheeky bundle of joy who is eagerly waiting to be welcomed into a loving new family. His social nature shines through as he delights in making new friends, both human and feline alike. Jay's ideal home would have a fellow feline companion, as he thrives in their company and loves having a buddy to share his adventures.
This spirited kitty is a master at chasing wiggly wands, showing off an athleticism that will keep you entertained for hours. He's a cheeky little character who loves to explore his surroundings with playful curiosity. Filled with energy and spunk, Jay loves engaging in all forms of play, from interactive toys to snuggle time.
Jay's true kingdom is his cat tower, from where he surveys his realm while soaking up the sun. It's his favourite spot for a nap or leisurely rest. You'll know you've won his heart when you offer him his favourite treats—creamy delights that he can't resist. The way to Jay's heart is truly through his stomach!

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
