About David IV
Introducing David IV, also known affectionately as Dave, a playful and endearing cat with a magical touch. Dave is renowned for his wizardry in catching dust bunnies, showing off his prowess in playtime as he chases around toy balls and the teasing tails of his feline friends. His love for climbing to the top of cat scratchers and zooming up and down the hall showcases his energetic and spirited personality.
Though active and adventurous, Dave knows the art of balance. Once he's satisfied his playful instincts, he seeks out the coziest spot in the sun or curls up affectionately in your lap, relishing the warmth and companionship. A lap cat at heart, his affectionate nature shines through as he settles down and purrs contentedly.
Dave has a taste for the finer things in cat life, with a particular fondness for creamy treats that bring him pure joy. To keep him truly happy, he's searching for a new family that includes a feline friend to share his adventures with. Having a companion to pal around with is essential for Dave, as he thrives in the company of other cats.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
