About Dragon
Dragon is looking for a temporary foster home, while his carer are having a much earnt holiday, for the dates 21st of February til 1st march.
Dragon requires the following in his new home:
- Dragon needs to be the only pet living in the home.
- To have the option of being inside when people are home and to sleep over night.
- No children under 12 or elderly people, living in the home.
- Dragon needs to be walked daily, where he has enough space away from other dogs.
- More training around walking on lead around other dogs and staying calm around them.
- A securely high fenced large yard with secure full height gates.
- Not to be taken to dog parks or public off lead areas.
- His people home often.
Dragon loves going for walks & running around in the yard, he will often chase the birds. He doesn't seem to like toys, or chasing balls.
Dragon is very snuggly around the people he knows. He is good with kids & people of all ages. However he can get quite excited and jumps up towards your face so would need no children under 12 or elderly people living in the home.
Dragon loves car rides but can get a bit excited. When out on lead walks Dragon needs a bit of space away from other dogs, as sometimes he can react towards other dogs. He will need further training around this. He is an active dog that will need daily exercise to be happy and content at home. He would be best with a large yard, but medium yards will be considered to homes that can give multiple walks a day. He is not suited to public off leash areas or dog parks.
He is very well toilet trained & knows how to use the doggy door. He also knows to sit on command and drop & stay is still a work in progress. Although his hair is short he does need regular brushing.
Dragon usually sleeps inside in his bed but also loves to snuggle on the couch with us.
Dragon loves bones to chew on and may find a place to bury them for a later date.
Dragon is interested in chasing wildlife so he would not be suited to homes with other pets and needs to be an only dog.
