About Aubrey STA014483
Meet Aubrey, a resilient and intriguing lady who's on a journey to find her place in a loving home. While she may be cautious due to her past experiences, each day brings newfound relaxation and small steps towards trusting the world around her. With a gentle touch and a mindful approach, you can be the one to guide Aubrey into a more secure and joyful stage of life.
Aubrey would thrive in a calm and routine environment, ideally one where there are no children or dogs to disturb her peace. She's looking for a patient companion who understands her need for time and gentle encouragement as she continues to evolve from a street-savvy survivor to a cherished family member. While her settling-in period might not be swift, the bond you'll build together will be deeply rewarding.
Aubrey's heart holds a lot of potential for love, and with the right person, she'll slowly learn that people can be trusted. If you're someone with a serene lifestyle and the willingness to nurture Aubrey, you’ll be amazed by the companionship she can offer. With consistent care and understanding, you'll watch her flourish and perhaps even experience the indescribable joy of being her chosen human.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
