About Shanti - 1.5 Year Old Domestic Short Hair
About a month ago, the Dog Rescue Newcastle team was contacted by a very caring couple regarding a gorgeous calico cat who appeared on their doorstep. Neighbours were asked and a door knock produced no details on this sweet girl. Then 6-7 weeks ago Mumma cat (now called Shanti) arrived with two gorgeous bundles of fluffy gingerness - Pixie & Dixie, who are also available for adoption.
Shanti is a very gentle & affectionate girl, grateful for a safe calm place with her two babies. She would make a wonderful family pet and is suited to kids of all ages.
Shanti is dog and cat friendly. She is litter trained, and available to indoor only homes.
She is in foster care in Rankin Park, NSW. Her adoption fee is $150. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
