Summer is a "Quiet Observer" with a heart of gold. She isn't the type to demand attention loudly; instead, she waits patiently for a gentle touch.
Affection on Her Terms: Once she knows she’s safe, Summer absolutely loves pats and cuddles. She is even sweet enough to let you pick her up for short periods, a true testament to her gentle nature.
The "Hiding" Phase: Currently, Summer finds comfort in small, soft spaces. You’ll often find her tucked away under blankets, beneath beds, or in a cozy corner. She views these as her "safe zones" while she adjusts to indoor life.
Solo Queen: Summer has decided that after raising her kittens, she would prefer to be the only pet in the household. She isn't interested in sharing her space with other cats or dogs, she wants to be the center of your world!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
