About Harry - 2‑year‑old Miniature Poodle
Harry - 2‑year‑old Miniature Poodle • Sweet • Sensitive • Snuggle Champion
Hi there! My name is Harry, and I’m a handsome little 2‑year‑old miniature poodle with a soft heart and a love of snuggles. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, so the world can feel a bit overwhelming for me sometimes. Because of that, I can be shy when meeting new people or trying new things — but once I trust you, I’ll love you with my whole heart. Mum calls me a Velcro dog, and she’s right — I like to be with you always, and I do get upset if I can’t see you.
My foster fur brothers have been helping me learn that life can be fun and safe. I truly light up around other dogs and love zooming around the yard with friends of all sizes. Because of this, my forever home must have another friendly dog.
Playing outside is one of my favourite things!
I’m still learning some important life skills. Walking on a lead is scary for me at the moment, so I’ll need patient humans willing to help me build confidence with gentle training. I’m also working hard on my toilet training — I’m improving every day, but I may have the occasional accident while I’m still learning. I can sit, and I take treats very gently. I’m also very food‑motivated, which makes training easier and fun!
Because I’m still scared of the world and can be easily overwhelmed, I’m looking for a home without young kids.
💛 My Needs
- Must have another friendly dog
- Someone home most of the time
- Must be allowed inside all the time (preferably sleep in your bed!)
- Patience while I build confidence
- A home without young children
- Understanding as I continue lead training and toilet training
