I am shy to start off with, but love other cats, have a huge heart, am friendly and just need time to feel safe.
Poor Pappa Joe waiting in a pound for such a long time. He is very timid in loud environments and just needed a soft place to land for his true personality to shine! A lovely cat who is often overlooked because he is not a social butterfly to start off with and a tabby. Surly there is an introvert who can relate and is willing to give him a chance. All too often the best men are the shy ones to start off with.
Joe is wonderful with other cats and would suit a home with his friend Mystic or a home with an existing cat needing a friend. Likewise, he would be fine on his own with lots of toys, love and safety.
He is not suited to a home with dogs or young children - he just needs a calm, constant and kind environment with someone who is gentle and understanding of cats. We feel maybe people were not always kind to him.
Pappa Joe is desexed, up to start with vaccinations, flea/worm treated, microchipped and kitty litter trained. If you are interested in adopting him please apply by clicking on the application form below:

Adoption details
If a member of the public is interested in adopting they will need to fill out an application form on our website. If approved, a phone interview will be conducted. If the interview is successful they are able to meet the animal and if all goes well adopt on the day.
