Mystic is one of those special cats whose love isn't given away instantly - it is earned. While she may be shy when you first meet her, beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, gentle soul who simply needs someone willing to give her time and understanding.
Sadly, Mystic spent a long time waiting in the pound before coming into care. Loud environments can be overwhelming for her, and she needed a safe place to finally start showing her true personality. Because she isn't the type of cat who rushes up to strangers demanding attention, she is often overlooked. Watching her wait while other cats are chosen breaks our hearts.
What Mystic loves most is other cats. She absolutely blossoms around feline friends and would thrive in a home with a friendly, social cat who can help show her that people can be kind and life can be safe. If your cat is looking for a companion, Mystic could be the perfect match.
She is searching for a calm, quiet home without dogs or young children. A place where she can settle in at her own pace and be loved for who she is. We believe Mystic may not have always experienced kindness in the past, which makes her trust all the more precious when it is given.

Adoption details
If a member of the public is interested in adopting they will need to fill out an application form on our website. If approved, a phone interview will be conducted. If the interview is successful they are able to meet the animal and if all goes well adopt on the day.
