Meet Chewy & Worf 🐾
Chewy and Worf are 4-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu brothers who are looking for their forever home together.
These two sweet boys came into our care after being surrendered, and while the situation they came from was heartbreaking, their gentle nature shone through immediately. Despite severely matted coats and clearly needing some TLC, we were greeted with wagging tails and big smiles — proof of just how loving and resilient they are.
Straight away, Chewy and Worf headed off to our wonderful groomer, where they patiently sat through hours of grooming without a single complaint. While none of their coats could be saved, they emerged feeling fresh, comfortable, and like brand-new dogs. They do have a few mild irritation spots, which we’re treating with soothing cream, and they’ve since been given a clean bill of health.
Because Chewy and Worf have been together their entire lives, they will be rehomed as a bonded pair.
About Chewy & Worf:
* Sweet, playful, and affectionate
* Love attention and human companionship
* Very dog-friendly
* Enjoy walks and outdoor adventures
* Happy to hop straight into the car for trips
* Responsive to commands and settle well when asked
* Currently working on house training (may need some refresher training in a new environment)
They are beginning to be introduced to cats and are making progress, though they may bark at times. A home with cats would need to continue their training and support.
Chewy and Worf would make a wonderful addition to a family who can offer love, companionship, and the chance to explore the world together. These boys have so much love to give — and they’re ready to share it with the right home 💙

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
