About Boomer - 1 Year Old Cavalier X
Boomer is a sweet, affectionate and sociable Cavalier Mix, we think there could be some poodle in the there.
He is just the right combination of affectionate snuggler with playful puppy energy. Boomer enjoys games with his toys and exploring the backyard, Zoomies with doggy friends as well as his relaxed down time with his human companions being close.
Boomer is best suited to a family with someone who is home often as he loves company and forms close bonds with his people. He loves other dogs and would enjoy the company of another small playful dog too.
Boomer’s family must be committed to force free training, socialisation and enrichment as Boomer is still young and eager to learn and please his humans.
He has mastered the doggy door and goes outside to toilet, he walks well on leash and is happy on car rides. Boomer sleeps through the night in his own bed. Boomer must be allowed inside whenever he wants, and would love to be part of his family’s every day life joining them on adventures.
Children over 8 would be best as he can get excited and is learning not to jump to greet people. He’s hasn’t met cats in foster care but was fine with birds and cats in his previous home.
Boomer would thrive on a fresh food diet in his forever home. As he is a low shedder he will need someone who is committed to maintaining his hair and to 6-8 weekly grooms. He would love a garden to explore and do zoomies on. He is not suited to apartment living.
Boomer’s adoption fee is $1100. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms. He is in foster care in Waratah, NSW, and is available for adoption in NSW & ACT (no flights).
