Pistachio thought she had found her forever home. Sadly, just a few months after being adopted, we received the heartbreaking call that her family was moving overseas. She was surrendered back into our care after being left in boarding, through no fault of her own. Now this beautiful girl is searching once again—this time for a family who will truly be her forever. 💚
Pistachio is the vocalist, the cardio queen, and a confident little sweetheart with a personality that's impossible to ignore. If she wants something, she'll happily let you know with her adorable chatty nature! Whether she's asking for dinner, cuddles, or your attention, Pistachio always has something to say.
This gorgeous girl is incredibly food motivated and absolutely loves scratches, cuddles, and spending time with her people. She has a playful, independent streak and can happily entertain herself with almost anything—from laser pointers and string toys to something as simple as an empty paper roll. Once the zoomies begin, you'll quickly discover why she's earned her "cardio queen" title!
And then there's her coat… silky, glossy, and absolutely stunning. It's impossible not to admire her beautiful tuxedo markings and luxurious fur.
Pistachio is in foster care with another cat and absolutely adores her so she will be fine other cat/s (provided following standard introduction protocols).

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the above adoption price.
