About Macadamia ๐ค
๐๐พ Adopt Macadamia ๐ค The Quiet Genius with a Hidden Superpower ๐ฑ
Meet Macadamia ๐ค a timid, gentle little soul with a surprisingly clever mind. This sweet boy is on the quieter side, but do not let that fool you, he is super smart and has a secret talentโฆ high jumping ๐พโจ You will be amazed watching him show off his skills.
Macadamia enjoys playing with his foster friends, but he much prefers a calm, peaceful environment. Loud noises and sudden movements are not his vibe, so he would thrive in a quiet home with a patient human who can help him settle in and feel safe ๐
He may not rush over for pats just yet, but food time is his favourite moment of the day. When the bowl comes out, the purr motor turns on and you will hear how happy he really is ๐ป
Macadamia can be adopted on his own or as a pair with one of his foster siblings Pistachio or Peanut to help build his confidence and show him how wonderful home life can be.
If you are looking for a gentle, clever companion who just needs a little time and love to blossom, Macadamia ๐ค could be your perfect match ๐กโจ

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitmentโboth emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. Weโll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, weโd love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, weโll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isnโt the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
