About Ringo
🐾 Meet Ringo - Your New Best Mate! 🐾
Ringo is a 3‑year‑7‑month‑old Staghound X with a heart as big as his goofy grin.
This handsome boy is affectionate, easygoing, and always ready to brighten your day with his happy‑go‑lucky nature.
Ringo is a social butterfly who gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves making new friends.
Out on walks, he's a dream - great on the lead and happy to stroll right by your side.
After an outing, he's more than content to curl up on the couch for a well‑earned nap (bonus points if he can squeeze in next to you!).
He's toilet trained and has previously lived with older kids, making him a lovely addition to a family home.
Whether you're after a gentle walking buddy, a snuggle partner, or an all‑round cheerful companion, Ringo is ready to fill the role with enthusiasm.
If you're looking for a loving, laid‑back mate to share life's adventures - and naps - Ringo might just be your perfect match. 🐶💛
To book a meet and greet with Ringo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
