About Margy
Hi my name is Margy and I am a small shihtzu (5kg). I am 9 years old and will be 10 on the 3rd August 2026.
I was adopted 1 year ago by TOTF.
They found me in the pound where I had been twice due to escaping my homes. Last time no one came for me.
The last year I have been with my new mum but recent events due to her working longer hours I have been escaping.
My mum has made the decision for me to have a home where someone is home more often then not.
I don’t have separation anxiety, I am ok to be on my own but not long periods. And I like to be able to have a window to look out of while you are gone.
I love to sleep on the bed with you at night and I love having Netflix binges as well.
I love walks and get on with dogs.
I can be selective of cats but don’t want to hurt them just chase some.
My eating habits I’ve been told can be frustrating as I can be a picky eater. But since been back in foster care I’ve started to eat better most days.
I do have a slight heart murmur but not warranting medications.
I’m located in the Gold Coast.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
