Mia

Mia is a 4-year-old Staffy x Mastiff with a soft and gentle nature. She came into rescue heavily pregnant and gave birth to eight beautiful pups the very next day. She has been an exceptional mum and now that her pups are weaned, it is finally her turn to find a home of her own.

Mia is wonderful with small children and absolutely adores people. She is affectionate without being overwhelming, loves following her humans from room to room, and is happiest just being part of whatever you are doing. She is playful, cheerful, and has a lovely, relaxed presence around the house.

Mia would suit a home where she can be included as a true family companion. She takes treats very gently from the hand, enjoys meeting new people and travels beautifully in the car.

Mia can be reactive towards other dogs but with slow and careful introductions once her protective mama hormones have settled, we feel she could warm up to them in time. She is not suited to a home with cats.

Mia is available now to head off to her new home on a foster-to-adopt arrangement. This means she can settle in, start bonding with her family, and enjoy home life straight away, with her adoption to be finalised once she has been desexed. It is a lovely opportunity to give Mia the stability and comfort she deserves while completing the final step of her journey into a permanent home.
