About Honey - 15 Year Old Cairn Terrier
Please say hello to the wonderful Honey.
Honey is a 15yr old Cairn Terrier, who came to us after sadly losing her loving Mum. She is a beautiful senior girl who is searching for a comfy loving spot in her new home to curl up and snuggle in.
Having come from a lifelong loving home, Honey is a kind, gentle girl. She will always be nearby when you’re home, choosing to snooze on the floor in the kitchen while you cook, and hanging on the lounge while you watch a movie. She’s also surprisingly playful, loving a toy tug of war or a post-bath zoomie.
Honey is :
- Toilet trained
- Kid friendly above 10yrs
- Dog friendly
- Untested with cats & pocket pets
Honey shows some loss of sight, so can be startled by unexpected touch. For this reason, we don’t recommend she joins a home with young children or young/unpredictable dogs. As an older girl, she has some arthritis and needs her new family to commit to not over feeding to ensure she stays comfortable.
The vet has cleared Honey as quite healthy for her age, and we’d love to see her in a wonderful, loving home.
She is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Her adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
