About Paco
Paco is a loving, chatty guy. While he can sometimes be shy with new people, once he knows you, he loves to hang around you and weave around your ankles asking for a pat. He loves making biscuits (preferably on you) and he purrs and purrs and purrs. He also really loves belly rubs.
He loves to be around his humans, helping while they're working from home by keeping their laptop warm, even when they're trying to use it! If for some unknown reason this isn't allowed, he's happy to curl around your feet to keep you company while you work.
Paco loves his food (particularly wet food) and will remind you loudly if he thinks dinner is late. He also loves a chat in general - he has a lot to keep you up to date on.
Paco is a gentle cat so he's good with young kids. He has been in a one pet household for most of his life, so we're not sure how he'd go with other pets.
He really just needs a home with a human or humans who will love him and give him all the pats and belly rubs he deserves. Are you up to the challenge?!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
