Meet Bear 🐻🖤
Bear is pure sweetness wrapped up in sleek, shiny black fur. Affectionate, gentle, and endlessly loving, he’s the kind of cat who melts straight into your arms and makes you feel instantly at home. If cuddles are what you’re after, Bear is your guy.
He’s the ultimate cuddle and purr machine — once Bear settles in beside you, the purring starts and doesn’t stop. He adores human affection and will happily soak up pats, snuggles, and quiet time together, all while keeping a curious eye on the world around him.
Playful and inquisitive, Bear enjoys exploring his space and joining in on gentle play, but his true happy place is close to those he loves. He also really enjoys the company of other cats and would love to have a feline friend in his forever home to keep him company, share naps with, and bond alongside 🐱💕
Bear would thrive in a home where he can be both cherished and comforted — a calm, loving companion who brings warmth, affection, and constant purrs into everyday life.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
