About Benji
Meet Benji - Your Next Adventure Buddy!
Benji is a 2-year-old bundle of joy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! This ripper little dog is full of energy and enthusiasm, without any of that "little dog attitude." He's an all-round good boy who loves being around his people, always sporting a smile and eager to please.
Benji isn't looking for a life as a couch ornament or cushion - he wants to get out and experience everything life has to offer! Whether it's exploring the great outdoors, playing games, or learning new tricks, Benji is ready for it all. He'd thrive in a home where he can be active and engaged, and he'd love to have another doggy friend to share the fun with.
Benji would also be a great fit for a family with kids aged 6 and older who are ready for the responsibility of a furry friend to join their adventures. He's still working on perfecting his toilet training, but he's got the basics down and will quickly settle into a routine with a little guidance.
Currently in foster care, Benji is available for meet and greets by appointment only.
If you're ready to welcome this happy, go-get-'em pup into your life, please reach out to BARC on 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au.
Important Details:
Meet and greets will be held Thursday, 22nd January.
Interested adopters who have been successful in being offered an appointment, must be available to attend, if it's a perfect match, take Benji home that day.
Due to expected high interest, generic emails without contact details or specific information will not receive a reply.
Benji is ready to find his forever family-could that be you? Don't miss the chance to meet this amazing boy!
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
