About Edna
She's only two years old, but she's already lived a lifetime of fear.
This young mum was found as a stray with her kittens, doing everything she could to keep them safe while carrying a weight no cat should ever have to bear. Her babies have moved on to brighter futures ... and now it's her turn. But her journey isn't an easy one.
She is terrified. Not naughty. Not aggressive. Just deeply, profoundly scared.
This is the kind of cat who will test you. There will be days you wonder if she's coping at all. Days where progress feels invisible. Days where you question whether you're doing the right thing. And then, quietly, almost imperceptibly-something shifts. She stays in the room instead of fleeing. She watches instead of hiding. She takes one small step forward.
Her progress is measured in millimetres, not leaps. But those tiny steps? They matter. And they are happening.
She is growing in confidence every single day, slowly learning that hands don't hurt, that voices don't mean danger, that she doesn't have to be on high alert forever. What she needs now is time, patience, and a human who understands that love doesn't always look like cuddles at first.
This is not a "plug and play" cat.
This is a commitment.
This is a promise.
Her life will absolutely depend on you. Not in a dramatic way, but in the quiet, powerful sense that without the right person, she may never fully get the chance to live the life she deserves. With the right person, she has everything to gain.
If you are gentle.
If you are patient.
If you can celebrate the smallest victories like they are miracles.
Then you won't just be adopting a cat.
You will be saving a life ... one tiny step at a time.
