About Sriracha
Meet Sriracha 🌶️
Sriracha is the tiniest of her sisters and the most shy, with the softest, gentlest nature. When she first came into care, her nervous, sad little eyes told a story of how unsure she felt, but with time, patience, and love, those eyes are slowly beginning to brighten.
Being the smallest, Sriracha often follows her sisters’ lead when it comes to exploring the world. She’s still cautious around people and can find comfort in hiding, especially under the bed, but she is making steady progress every day. She’s learning that humans can be kind, gentle, and safe.
Sriracha will need a forever home that understands her sensitive nature and is willing to offer patience, consistency, and lots of love as she continues to build trust. She’s slowly becoming more comfortable with being held, though she doesn’t yet enjoy sitting very close and prefers to move at her own pace.
At bedtime, Sriracha quietly follows her sisters, choosing the furthest corner of the bed where she can relax while still feeling secure enough to make a quick escape if needed. It’s a small step, but a meaningful one in her journey.
Playtime has been the biggest confidence booster for Sriracha. When chasing and pouncing on toys, her joy truly shines through. Treats also help bring out her braver side, often tempting her out of hiding and transforming her into a curious little kitten who leans in close to get that special reward.
With the right home, Sriracha has the potential to grow into a trusting, loving companion. She will thrive with someone who can see past her shyness and is excited to be part of her journey as she blossoms into the cat she’s meant to be.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
