About Tabasco
Meet Tabasco 🌶️
Tabasco earned her name after arriving into care a little shy with a hint of spice, but it didn’t take long for her true personality to shine. After an unsure start, she became the first of her sisters to trust, and she has blossomed into a confident little purring machine.
Tabasco is highly energetic and loves to play. Chasing, pouncing, and exploring are some of her favourite activities. She also adores human company and likes to be close, often following you from room to room to see what you’re up to. You’ll usually find her sitting beside you on the couch or curled up next to you in bed.
Aside from her loud, happy purr, Tabasco is a quiet kitten. She’s still discovering her meow and practices it at mealtimes with the sweetest little squeaky sound, often following you to the kitchen to make sure you don’t forget.
She’s an easy-going kitten with a gentle nature. While she still has occasional shy moments, they’re quickly replaced by a desire for pats, play, or food. She gets along well with her sisters, but as the most confident of the group she’s often happy to explore on her own.
Tabasco would suit most homes and would especially thrive in a household where someone is home more often than not, as she truly loves companionship. She’s a loving, curious, and affectionate kitten ready to bring warmth and joy to her forever home.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
