About Anastasia
Meet Anastasia, our cheeky little princess with main character energy.
Anastasia is a little princess with a bold personality to match her beauty. She's super playful and lives for interactive playtime, especially with her beloved feather teaser toy, which she is completely obsessed with. If there's a game happening, Anastasia will be front and centre.
When playtime winds down, she becomes a cuddle bug. Anastasia adores attention, purrs nonstop, and loves curling up beside you or even stretched out on your chest. She's incredibly affectionate and generous with kisses and headbutts, so much so that she's learned to come running for a kiss when her foster dad whistles.
True to her princess status, Anastasia does have a cheeky streak. She's been known to claim any object you put near her door - from newspapers to shoes!
She also loves watching the world go by and spends her solo time perched on her cat tower, chatting to the birds and surveying the neighbourhood like royalty... she's already famous with the neighbours!
Anastasia hasn't been formally tested with dogs or children. She adores play and affection and would likely do well with cat-savvy kids. She can occasionally give very gentle nibbles when she's overstimulated or doesn't want you to leave the room. This is minor and expected to settle further in her own home.
Anastasia has been tested with other cats and shown a confident (and slightly intimidating) personality. A calm home where she can be the star, or a home with a resident cat willing to manage her diva energy would suit her best.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, hilarious little princess who will keep you laughing and shower you with love, Anastasia is ready to rule your heart!
Medical notes
When Anastasia arrived from the pound she had calicivirus. This has since been treated and she has not shown any ongoing or current symptoms. She is now happy, healthy and thriving in care.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
