About Buddy The Greyhound
• Currently living in an apartment
• Good with alone time
• Can climb stairs comfortably
Hi there! If you’re looking for a new Buddy, I might just be the perfect match — mostly because that’s literally my name, but also because I’m very good at the whole companionship thing.
Let me introduce myself.
I’m a devilishly handsome gentleman with a real sense of style. I wear a stunning light fawn coat, perfectly accessorised with an adorable black snoot (think Zorro vibes) and some very impressive winged black eyeliner. I like to stay catwalk-ready at all times — you never know who you’ll meet on your daily walks.
I’ve lived in a home before, so I already know some basic cues like ‘come,’ ‘on your bed,’ ‘no’, ‘out’, and ‘go.’ I’m a confident lad and not much rattles me. I’m affectionate, gentle, and playful, and on warm days you’ll find me happily splashing around in water like it’s my personal spa.
I’m also a big fan of toys — especially throwing them in the air and catching them myself (yes, I am that talented). My zoomie game is elite, so a bit of outdoor space would be ideal for me to show off my skills, particularly first thing in the morning when I wake up ready to party.
I’m friendly and social with other dogs and have never shown any aggression, but if I’m being honest, my favourite company is humans. I’d be happy in a home with kind children aged 5+, as long as they understand that I need some quiet time and space while I settle in.
I’m very good at being left alone, especially if I have some enrichment to keep my brain busy. I’ve never shown destructive or anxious behaviour, and I’m comfortable with small staircases (up to five steps — no marathons, please).
All in all, I’m a total catch. So if you like the sound of this Buddy, please get in touch with the lovely folks at Greyhound Rescue. I’d love to meet you and see if we’re meant to be.
