About Tayra the Tiny Tripod Tuxie
Tayra will be one of the stars of the show at our next adoption day (28th Feb at Pet O Maribyrnong)! Follow us on Instagram @sugarandspicecatrescue for details of upcoming events. And if you pre-apply to adopt, you might even be able to take your new best friend home on the day!
😸 Gets along with other cats and would adore a feline friend or two!
🐶 Gets along with gentle pups (& rabbits too)
👶🏻 Would prefer to be in an adult only household (or with older, gentle kids)
🏠 Strictly indoors only (a fully enclosed, professionally installed catio is fine)
❣️ Starts off shy, but once he settles, he's the star of the show!

Hi! I'm Tayra, and I'm the best kitten ever.
I'm cute. Sweet. Cuddly. Playful. Smoochy. Did I mention cute?
I mean, just look at my handsome face.
Now that I'm all recovered from my surgery I'm back to having boundless amounts of energy (my foster carers had to get me another kitten so I wouldn't be bored). I spend all of my days chasing around toys, getting into mischief with Helvetica and then taking longgggg naps in the cutest positions.
I've adjusted really well to life without my leg and I'm ready to take the next step in my journey, finding a family that will love me and take care of me forever!
My carers at Sugar & Spice say I'm an "absolute champion" (aww, shucks, guys). They knew I was worth trying to save, and did everything they possibly could to make me alllll better.

Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
