About Ash
Ash is a sweet, gentle boy with so much affection to give once he knows he can trust you. He can be quite shy and wary when meeting new people, and likes to take a little time to get to know you first. But once he feels safe and comfortable, that cautious exterior melts away and his affectionate personality comes shining through.
Ash absolutely loves attention. You can pick him up, tickle his tummy, or give him a cuddle, and he'll purr contentedly the whole time. He adores cuddling up close to give kisses and is also a little chatterbox, happily greeting his favourite people with sweet little meows.
He has a playful side too and loves chasing anything that moves, especially during interactive playtime. Once settled, Ash is a lovely mix of playful, relaxed and affectionate.
Ash gets along beautifully with other cats and friendly dogs. He would love to be adopted into a home with a friendly resident cat to keep him company and help him feel at ease.
Ash may need a little patience while he gets to know you, but give him the chance to feel safe and you’ll discover an incredibly loving little boy with plenty of cuddles, kisses and purrs to give.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
