Get ready for some serious cuteness! This adorable kitten will be officially attending our Meet & Greet Event this Sunday, March 15th at Pet O in Springvale. If you’re looking for a new best friend (or just some kitten cuddles), come say hello!
Meet Maxi!
If you’re looking for a kitten who is the perfect balance of "explorer" and "calm companion," Maxi is your guy. He is a curious soul who finds wonder in everything, from a passing bird to a bouncing ball.
Bio 📝
Maxi is a sweet, well-rounded boy who takes life as it comes! 🌎 He is incredibly easy to handle and has a lovely disposition that makes him a favorite among humans. He’s the kind of kitten who is happy to be held one minute and ready to tackle a toy the next.
He is a very observant little guy, if there’s a window nearby, you can bet Maxi will be there, keeping a close eye on the world outside! 🐦🪟
The Toy Enthusiast 🎾
Ping Pong Pro: Maxi has a very specific passion: ping pong balls! 🏓 He could spend hours chasing them across the floor, showing off his impressive footwork.
Brotherly Bonds: He is very social and loves nothing more than a high-speed game of tag with his brothers. He’s a "team player" through and through.
Little Explorer: Maxi is naturally brave and loves to investigate new sights and sounds. He’s always the first to find a new sunny spot for a nap.
The Calm After the Storm ☁️
Maxi has a great "off" switch. While he definitely gets the kitten zoomies, his baseline personality is surprisingly gentle and calm.
Easygoing Energy: When he’s not in "crazy zoomie mode," he is very chill and enjoys a quiet house.
Window Watcher: He loves his downtime, especially if it involves a high perch where he can look out at the world.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
