About Shizzy
Meet this beautiful black-and-white Shih Tzu girl who is searching for a loving new home đ.
She is an older female with a gentle soul and a very loving nature. Sadly, she needs to be rehomed due to the declining health of her owner, through no fault of her own.
She is microchipped, toilet trained, and confidently lets herself outside using a doggy door. She knows basic commands, enjoys routine, and absolutely loves going for walks. True to her breed, she is affectionate, social, and enjoys being around people.
She is great with kids (best over 8 yrs), showing a calm and patient temperament, making her a wonderful companion for a family or a quieter household looking for a loyal friend. She would be best suited to a low-set home. She would be ok with other small dogs and has not been tested with cats.
Shizzy would thrive in a home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves in her golden years.
If youâre looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion to share walks, cuddles, and companionship, this lovely girl could be the perfect match đž

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
