Toffee

Toffee is a shy girl who will need a patient and understanding home.
She is a 6 kg Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles spaniel x Poodle).

Surrendered due to a marriage breakup, we were told that Toffee had lots of anxieties but since being with us, we have not seen a lot of what her previous owner described.

We were told that Toffee hates men and will bark at them but there are currently 2 men in her foster home, and she loves them both. She has barked at a 10-year-old boy but once he gave her a pat, she was fine.

Toffee has thrived with her foster family. They are older people who are home most of the time. We believe that a similar sort of home would be ideal for her.

Toffee needs dog savvy humans who can help her if she does become anxious but with humans who are committed to helping her gain confidence in everyday life, we are sure that she will blossom.

Toffee is fine with the other dogs in her foster home and we believe that a confident doggie friend might be a bonus in her new family.

We do not believe that Toffee would enjoy a home where young kids were regular visitors so an adult only home would be ideal.
